CERN visit

On April 2-4 2019, together with about 20 other companies and institutions from Poland, specializing in the high-tech sector, we visited CERN in Geneva. CERN is a European research organization that operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world.

During the first day of Poland @ CERN2019 we had the opportunity to listen to the presentation of CERN employees, who showed us the principles of cooperation with this institution at the commercial and technological level.

After the official part of the first day of Poland @ CERN2019, we have participated in the sightseeing tour of CERN. The main attractions consisted of visits to CMS (Compact Muon Solenoid), one of the detectors at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), CERN Data Center and the very first synchrocyclotron built at CERN.

The second day was dedicated to B2B meetings with representatives of CERN. At the tables of representatives of the Polish industry, talks were held with CERN employees interested in specific technological solutions.

On the last day we met to summarize the mission during final presentations.
